Guilt City are a Hard Rock and Alternative Metal band, boasting punchy riffs and mammoth choruses you can’t help but sing along to.
The band released their first EP “Judgement Day” to general acclaim and an unrelenting release show at The Dog & Parrot in their native Newcastle. Since then, the bands heavier and more progressive influences have been shining through in their newer material.
Guilt City are releasing their brand new EP, as yet untitled, on the 25th of July to coincide with their headline show at the O2 Academy Newcastle.
Memoirs by Guilt City
Although it’s their 3rd time at the Academy, when we caught up with them, it was clear they were looking forward to this oen; “We’re all stoked and well excited for the show, it’s going to be an amazing night! We’re playing with some of our favourite bands that we’ve already shared the stage with, and some new bands that we haven’t. Check them out,”
So we did.
Beyond the Ocean are a local metalcore band who impressed recently when supporting the excellent Guardian UK.
Grayce are a band in demand. The female fronted four piece alt rock band also make the bill for Ilser’s EP release show at The Head of Steam on 1st August.
Teessiders Glass Harbour complete this impressive bill, bringing their brand of ‘melodic metalcore’ up the A19.
As the headliner’s put it, “Everyone will be giving 100% from start to finish and they all deserve everybody’s attention – we can’t wait to hit the stage!”
